Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains how EDrehab handles information when you browse the directory or call a number on the site.
What this policy covers
EDrehab is a free, advertising-supported directory of licensed eating disorder treatment programs. This policy explains what information the site collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with. EDrehab is not a healthcare provider and is not a HIPAA covered entity, so any information involved is not protected health information. The site collects very little, and we use what there is only to operate the directory and help connect you with care.
Information we collect
EDrehab does not collect personal information through the site. There are no contact forms, no advertising or analytics cookies, and no tracking across other websites. Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to operate and secure the site.
How we use your information
We use the limited information described above to operate and improve the directory, to route your call to a licensed treatment program when you choose to call, and to meet our legal and compliance obligations. We do not sell personal information.
How calls are handled
When you call a number on the site, you are connected to a licensed eating disorder treatment program. The call may pass through a call-routing service, and the program you reach will see your phone number and may record the call for quality and compliance. EDrehab is not on the call and does not collect or store what you discuss; each treatment program has its own privacy practices. Calls placed from a sponsored profile reach that advertiser's admissions team; calls from other pages reach a licensed program from our rotating advertiser pool; crisis-resources pages never route to an advertiser.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site, primarily a hosting and infrastructure provider and, for phone calls, a call-routing provider. These providers process information on our behalf and under their own terms, only as needed to provide their service.
Consent to be contacted
When you call a licensed treatment program through the site, you are reaching out to that program directly, and it may follow up with you about care by phone, text, or email and may monitor or record the call. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can ask a program to stop contacting you at any time.
How long we keep information
Because the site collects no personal information, there is little to retain. Standard server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited time.
Your choices and rights
Because the site does not collect personal information, there is little to access or delete. For any privacy question, email privacy@edrehab.com. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights, which we will honor as required by law.
Children's privacy
The site is intended for adults and for parents and caregivers researching care on behalf of someone else. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site and our practices change. The date below reflects the most recent update, and material changes will be posted on this page.
